Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized plans under the guidance of a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

The role emphasizes patience, compassion, and teamwork. Training is provided; candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow BCBA guidance.
• Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications; TB test may be required.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check and be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention under a BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Support children in engaging activities and adapt to their needs.
