Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision, helping with communication, social, and daily living skills.

Training is provided. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. The role offers a gateway to a rewarding career in behavioral analysis with a clear training path and team support.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Move in various positions throughout the day.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Assist in maintaining safety of clients during activities.
