Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a one-on-one setting. Under the guidance of a BCBA, you will implement individualized behavior plans and teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. You must be patient, compassionate, and physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as needed to help clients.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist with data collection and progress monitoring while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Maintain safety and adaptability, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
