Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under a BCBA's supervision. You will implement individualized plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

Candidates should be patient and compassionate, able to work in a team, 18+ years old, with a high school diploma or GED. Training is provided. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with supervision.
