Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking an Autism Aide/Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with clients in home and community settings, supporting communication, social, and daily living skills. You will collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement treatment plans and monitor progress.

Qualifications include being 18+, with a high school diploma or equivalent. Optional college coursework in related fields or at least one year of relevant experience is valued.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field.
• Or at least one year of experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar child-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.

Education
