Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services Temecula is seeking a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children with Autism. The role involves helping children improve social and communication skills and documenting progress under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, be at least 18, and demonstrate passion for working with children with special needs and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development, or at least one year of experience working with children in roles such as Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
