Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, implement individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, and help teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided. The role involves physical tasks and lifting up to 50 pounds; you should be comfortable moving and standing for long periods. Pay ranges from $19 to $25 per hour.

• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Strong communication with families and team members.
• Willingness to follow behavior intervention plans and guidance from BCBA.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans.
• Assist BCBA in teaching communication, social and daily living skills.
• Record progress and follow established procedures.
• Assist with safety, mobility and handling when lifting up to 50 pounds.
