Job summary

Centria Autism in Gresham, OR is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

Training is provided to help you succeed in this meaningful role. You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while ensuring safety as children move and participate in activities.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
