Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon seeks a dedicated Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism, following BCBA-guided intervention plans. Training is provided so candidates can grow in this field.

You will teach communication, social and daily living skills, while reducing challenging behaviors, in a supportive team setting. This role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patience and a caring attitude are essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow guidance.
• Must be 18+ years old and hold a HS diploma or GED.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test as required.
• Background check will be completed prior to employment.
• Physical ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children following individualized intervention plans.
• Assist the BCBA in implementing behavior strategies and data collection.
• Create a safe, engaging learning environment and monitor child progress.
