Centria Autism in Bath Charter Township, MI seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped to help each child, even without prior experience.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and a TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist with safety and active supervision; help children move and participate in activities.
