Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques and help reduce challenging behaviors.

Excellent training is provided; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test within recent year.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and move in various positions up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in training.
