Job summary

CentrIA Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children in a supportive team. You will implement individualized plans under a BCBA, teaching essential skills and reducing challenging behaviors. Training is provided, with a focus on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism under a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Manage safe handling of children, including lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Contribute to a supportive, collaborative team environment.
