Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, applying evidence-based methods to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• 18+ years of age required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test required.
• Background check must be passable.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors through targeted strategies.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive team environment.
