Job summary

Centria Autism invites enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians, working one-on-one with children to implement tailored intervention plans under supervision. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, expect physical activity, and require CPR/First Aid certification plus TB test. The pay range shown reflects entry to mid-level compensation for this role in Oregon.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with team to ensure consistent support for children.
