Job summary

Centra Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to help children with autism through one-on-one work under a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans to teach communication, social and daily living skills, while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided; prior experience is not required. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds; pay ranges from $16 to $19 per hour, based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
