Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The role involves implementing individualized behavior intervention plans, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills, and reducing interfering behaviors.

The job requires patience, compassion, and teamwork. Pay ranges from $19 to $20 per hour, with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• Be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Must be 18+ years old with HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized intervention plans.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Perform physical activities as needed to assist clients (lifting up to 50 pounds).
