Centria Autism is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to monitor progress and adapt interventions as needed.
