Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one intervention under supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, teach essential skills, and reduce challenging behaviors in a supportive team environment.

We provide comprehensive training, emphasize patient and compassionate care, and require physical ability to move with and assist children up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test (if not within last year).
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one intervention under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Be physically capable of moving with children (standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds).
