Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods, while ensuring safety and building a supportive team environment. Training is provided after hire, and a strong commitment to helping children is essential.

Qualifications

• Patience and empathy when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow BCBA guidance.
• Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test if not current.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors while ensuring child safety during activities.
• Support families by communicating progress and participating in daily routines.
