Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team and help children with autism reach their full potential. You will work one-on-one with kids, following individualized plans under a BCBA's guidance to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide training, support, and a safe, collaborative work environment. The position offers a pay range of $19-$24 per hour and opportunities to grow within our specialized behavioral care team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
