Job summary

Centria Autism in DeWitt, MI, is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one‑on‑one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, using evidence‑based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while supporting progress.

The role requires patience, a team mindset, and physical stamina to move and assist children up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid cert and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism and implement plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with team to support each child’s goals and progress.
• Provide a positive, patient, and supportive environment for clients.
