Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a one-on-one setting. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence‑based techniques.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. You must be comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds, and you should be patient, compassionate and a good team player.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion for children with autism.
• Able to work well in a team environment.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (within a year)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while ensuring safety and engagement.
