Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children and implement individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while ensuring safety and support.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates must obtain RBT certification after onboarding. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds; a CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend...).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior plans under BCBA supervision.
