Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication and daily living skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

Training is provided, and an RBT certification is pursued after onboarding. The role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test; pass background check.
• Must obtain RBT Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Be patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team environment; comfortable with physical demands of assisting children.
