Job summary

Centria Autism in Taylor, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to help children with autism through one-on-one support, under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided, and no prior experience is required. This role requires patience, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; paid training and a supportive, inclusive

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior intervention under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized plans to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
• Work as part of a team and participate in training.
