Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one intervention under a BCBA supervision. You will apply evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors, in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check

Responsibilities

• Sitting down and standing up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Running or moving quickly as needed to interact with, and for the safety and protection of your client(s).
