Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided, and you will join a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
