Job summary

CENTRIA Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Behavior Technician roles in Massachusetts. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Comprehensive training is provided; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB test required or to be obtained.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
