Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to help develop communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, able to work in a team, and comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Age 18+; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Be comfortable with physical tasks and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed.
