Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA's guidance.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. The role offers training and a supportive team environment, with a pay range visible below.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion in working with children with autism.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test, if not current.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one instruction under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based methods.
