Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. Training is provided, including required certifications, with pay range shown and opportunities to grow within Centria.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and track progress.
• Work as part of a team and participate in ongoing training.
