Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. Expect a physically active role, with lifting up to 50 pounds, and opportunities to grow within Centria Autism.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist with physical activities including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
