Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, under the guidance of a BCBA. You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques and support families daily.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. The role requires physical ability to move with children up to 50 pounds and a commitment to safety, compassion, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test
• Background check clearance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support families.
• Be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment.
