Job summary

Centria-Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Behavior Technician roles to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the supervision of a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training is provided. Candidates must be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid, and TB test (if not in last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support overall child development.
• Collaborate with a team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
