Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, applying individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

The role offers comprehensive training, a supportive team environment, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in children's lives. Compensation ranges from $19 to $24 per hour, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Follow guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
