Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Training is provided, and prior experience is not required. Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for portions of the day.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test within 1 year.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment for children.
