Job summary

Centr ia Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through individualized intervention plans. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to build communication and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.

The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $17–$20 per hour. Join a team dedicated to meaningful outcomes for children and families.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RBT Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Assist with daily activities and safety for client(s).
