Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, while maintaining safety and supportive interactions.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and team-oriented; training is provided, and certification steps follow onboarding. The role involves physical activity and can require lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist children in improving communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Promote a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
