Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under BCBA guidance. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; CPR/First Aid and TB test are required, with RB Technician certification due within 45 days. This role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while supporting child development.
• Engage with families and maintain a positive, patient demeanor throughout sessions.
