Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians in Michigan to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors; comprehensive training is provided so you can contribute from day one.

Pay ranges from $16 to $20 per hour, with equal opportunity employment and a supportive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion in interacting with children with autism.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• 18+ years of age and eligible to work in the US.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
