Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role emphasizes patience, teamwork, and comprehensive training, with opportunities to grow in a structured career path and to make a meaningful difference in a child’s life daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age.
• CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test required.
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Candidates must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Maintain patient, compassionate, and team-focused approach in a dynamic environment.
