Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism by implementing individualized plans under BCBA supervision. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while ensuring safety and positive outcomes.

We value compassion, patience, and teamwork. Training is provided; you’ll gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment, with opportunities to advance in the behavioral analysis field.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if not done in last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, squat, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidate must obtain an RBT Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team to support each child’s growth and safety.
