Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans and use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We value patience, compassion, and teamwork. Training is provided, and certification paths (including RBT) are supported as you grow with us in Brockton, MA.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test within the last year.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to support each child’s development.
• Assist with training and adapt activities to each child’s needs.
