Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided to prepare new entrants for meaningful impact. The role requires patience, compassion, and the ability to work well in a team; you should be comfortable with physical activity, including

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test if not on file in the last year
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism under BCBA supervision
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
