Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, support teamwork, and value every caregiver. The role includes physical activity with children and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate team player.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and tuberculosis test.
• Background check clearance required.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Participate as part of a team to support children and families.
