Job summary

Centria Autism in Dunwoody, GA is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with kids, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates must be patient and team-oriented and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion for working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Can obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to ensure effective intervention delivery.
