Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Behavior Technician roles to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and Tuberculosis test within the last year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
