Job summary

Centria is hiring Behavior Technicians to support children with autism on a one-on-one basis under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team, with the ability to stand, walk, sit, kneel,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Comfort with physical demands and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with documentation.
