Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. We provide comprehensive training, support a collaborative team environment, and offer a pay range of $17–$20

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Be comfortable standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties.
