Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with a child, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and using evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. You must be patient and compassionate, able to work well in a team, and able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate, able to work well in a team.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test within required timeframe.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Participate in comprehensive training provided by the company.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
